How Destiny One helped Columbia Online launch and prepare for growth
For most of its history, Columbia College Chicago was a traditional postsecondary college, with traditional postsecondary offerings. But changing student demographics and evolving labor market demand made it imperative for the university to expand into the digital sphere, or risk losing market share to competitors.
In 2017, Columbia College Chicago launched Columbia Online, a new division focused on providing high quality educational experiences to help students grow careers in high demand industries. Rather than using an OPM to help them move into the market quickly, Columbia Online chose to implement Destiny One, the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform designed by Destiny Solutions, to ensure that their move into online education is successful and lasting.
